Laurel Kubes holds a Bachelor’s of Education degree from York University, as well as a Master’s of Science degree with a collaborative specialization in Neuroscience from The University of Toronto.
Laurel is currently working towards an additional certification in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), accredited by the Association for Psychological Therapies (APT). Laurel’s credentials also include a Specialized Honours Bachelor of Arts with a double major in English and Psychology.
Laurel is committed to supporting children, youth and families by helping them navigate life’s challenging moments. Laurel is experienced working with vulnerable populations. Specifically those with neurodevelopmental disorders, learning disabilities, social-emotional difficulties and terminal illness.
Laurel is a member of the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT), the Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals (OAMHP), as well as the Society of Pediatric Psychology (SPP) Division 54.
